Welcome
The purpose of this website is to provide
background information
about the Fraser Family Foundation.
It's not fancy, but we hope it's functional.
The student debt relief grant programs
we once operated for the benefit
of men and women desiring
to enter religious life
have been subsumed into the
Mater Ecclesiae Fund for Vocations.
Please refer to its
website
for details.
We do not accept unsolicited applications
for grants.
Grant Program Status
The Fraser Family Foundation's
Mater Ecclesiae grant program
is closed and
will remain closed to new applicants.
The grant program has been
transfered to the
Mater Ecclesiae Fund for Vocations.
The MEFV's St. Joseph Student Debt Relief Grant Program
is accepting applications.
Please see the MEFV's
website
for details.
Please continue to pray
for the success of the new MEFV.
Fiat Dei voluntas.

March 2007
The
Mater Ecclesiae Fund for Vocations
has been determined by the IRS
to be an 501(c)(3) exemption organization.
We at the Foundation thank all those who were
praying for this happy event.
We have improved the
skeletal webite for
the Mater Ecclesiae Fund for Vocations.
If you would like to financially assist us
with this important mission you can now donate
to the MEFV directly.
There is a donate online button at the MEFV website,
or you can reach MEFV's PayPal donation page through this one:
January 2007
The
Mater Ecclesiae Fund for Vocations
filed for exemption as a 501(c)(3)
organization in late December 2006.
We expect to obtain that exemption
by March 2007.
You can find portions of our
filing (Form 1023 and attachements)
on the
MEFV's website.
November 2006
We have created a new entity,
the
Mater Ecclesiae Fund for Vocations,
to continue the work our grant programs.
We will be filing for 501(c)(3) status
before the end of the year.
August 2006
At the August meeting
of the
Mater Ecclesiae
grant review board,
we committed all funds available
for issuing grants.
Accordingly,
we must close acceptance of applications
for the time being.
Grants issued to date
are not in danger
and will continue to be honored.
Please pray for us,
as we implement
a fund-raising program.
Pray that the Holy Spirit
will help us identify holy men and women
to assist us.
In particular,
that we may find the best man or woman
to be our Development Director.
